Francis Vierboom - BSc (IT) LLB - Senior Consultant
Francis Vierboom was a senior consultant at Galexia . He assisted Galexia on technical and legal aspects of a variety of projects. He has completed significant research into distributed identity systems (Liberty Alliance and WS-Federation) and PKI interoperability models. Francis has consulted on projects for Vodafone and The University of Sydney regarding identity access and management, both implementation and architecture. Francis has also assisted with Galexia’s work on the design and development of the Australian Government Online Services Portal.
Francis has consulted on several of Galexia’s privacy law projects including the editing of the Electronic Contracts chapter in Thomson Reuters The Law’s of HisAustralia. His casenote on the leading Australian case of Dow Jones v Gutnick was republished in the ButterworthsButterworth’s In-House Counsel journal and he has written an article for the Internet Law Bulletin, Internet jurisdiction only deeper in confusion. Francis has also written several Bytes for this publication.
Francis holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology at the University of Technology Sydney.
